Question by diggity diggity: Uses for Cardboard and a way to “cover” or seal it?
Hi, I am on a limited budget and would like to make shelves and/or some type of clothing storage system out of cardboard. But, I hate the feel of cardboard. I would like ideas on how to either cover or seal cardboard in a manner that would make it water resistant, easy to clean, and somewhat attractive to look at.

    You get vinyl liners with adhesive to glue down in cupboards. We did that in my old house and it works well.
    You can also spray it with clear lacquer.

    The cheapest way would probably be to spray paint it because over time it won’t hold up. You could also glue fabric, wallpaper or something like that on it.
