Question by Missy: How come…………?
if you work in an office…………taking stuff home is considered “petty theft” and is often not caught or monitored………..

but if you work in retail………and try to steal a piece of merchandise…….
the cops will be all over you and you will be in deep trouble with automatic termination and perhaps further punishment.

Why is that?

    I’m not sure what planet you are from, If you steal something of value from an office the cops will be escorting your from the building.

    I know a guy that got fired from an office cuz he took a stack of paper towels to wash his car.
