Does anyone know if there is a god or goddess that can pretend he/she is a beggar?

Question by Nana R: Does anyone know if there is a god or goddess that can pretend he/she is a beggar?
I’m doing a Roman story on the moral lesson “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” where a god pretends he’s a beggar and blesses those who gives him money and food and curses those who curse him. But I want to know if there is a god or goddess that can transform into a beggar. If there is can you give me their names? Thank you!

Sure. Most of the Gods and Goddesses are able to change shape and many of them test their believers or just any mortal they feel like. Look towards the pranksters like Loki and see if there are any stories about it happening.
