Why should I trust that little lizard dude in the Geico commercial?

Question by Ro: Why should I trust that little lizard dude in the Geico commercial?
“15 minutes can save you 15 percent or more on car insurance” So I’m supposed to do what he says just because he has an accent? Get a penguin Geico, then maybe someday (when I know how to drive…) we can talk about it.

I’m thinking this is a rhetorical question, but they did actually save me about 300 a year on my car insurance. But after a stupid policy annoyed me, I started shopping around. Found another car insurance company that saved me 700 a year from what I was paying for Geico! lol =) It certainly pays to shop around
