I think there are different circumstances and situations to love. I myself have questioned this when my husband and I are going through hard times. The conclusion I have reached is In Love means you cherish each other for not only the good but the bad, you know someone inside and out and maybe even better than they know themselves. You want them with you more than away and when they have to be away you pine for that best friend that’s not there at the moment. When in love you know that they are there for you as much as you are there for them and there’s some kindof UMMP that hits you every time you see them or hear their voice. Simply loving them to me means that you carevery deeply and would absolutely me torn apart and crushed if they were to all of a sudden not be apart of your life and you really can’t imagine being without them, but then again you know that there isn’t that UMMP for them anymore. Not saying the “lust” because that fades fast, but just the simply connect from eye contact or the cute little gesture that you make one another across the room. Yes I do believe a marriage can work with just loving someone because maybe it just needs one or you to add some fire to spark up the In Love feelings. Once you get use to someone for so long you have to work harder to keep it from falling into habit. If you love someone enough to make it work and be committed to that person with the way the relationship is then I say YES it’s enough. Some people marry for a lot less….at least this way there are some kind of feelings and emotions going on. Some kind o fbond is already formed.

    Hope this helps :)

“Falling in love” is a hormonal process (accelerated heart beats, sweating and stuff), while “loving someone” is being able to see you and the other person together talking, laughing, accepting each other’s bad habits with nothing but eyerolls and occasional reminding, and having lots of fun, even when you’re both too old for sex.

The “butterfly in stomach” feeling do not necessarily last forever as long as you still feel the other things that I mention above.

Of course, some very lucky couple do feel that “butterfly in stomach” feeling for the rest of their life. While to the rest of us, it’s just gas.

In short, love creates commitment, commitment makes lasting marriages. So falling in love is just the beginning.

I suppose it’s different for everyone. We all would love the rockets going off overhead, but that doesn’t guarantee spending a lifetime with someone happily. I think love deepens over time as you share and grow with each other through life experiences, and love itself waxes and wanes like the ocean, but the important thing is to BE in the ocean…….
