How long does it take for a new listed group to show up on the list when others try to find it?

Question by Pete: How long does it take for a new listed group to show up on the list when others try to find it?
Also, I have noticed that there is a section in the Join This Group area that one can “Comment to Ownner”. How do you access this to include it in a possible new members request to join?

    Several days, usually, although Adult groups are never indexed for the search engine.

    I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. If you want to write to a group owner, substitute the exact group name for the XXX in this email address: XXX-owner@yahoogroups.com

    So, if a group is named barbie_dolls, the address would be
    barbie_dolls-owner@yahoogroups.com
