How do you discipline a bad mouthing child?

Question by xdeath_bunnyx: How do you discipline a bad mouthing child?
I was working as a teacher until this student of mine said “my mouth is a garbage can” and I was wondering what I should tell him next time I see him so I can correct his behavior.

    Soap. It cured me. That or the fear of god. Until I was 12 years old I thought that if I said a curse word I’d get struck by a lightening bolt. True story bro.

    Just talk to him, I’m a kid myself and we respond much better if you talk to us like we are adults, and ask why, and don’t threaten with punishment unless he continues, make comprimises
