Well, you first have to understand what sin is. It isn’t “bad bahavior”, though many sins would be considered bad behavior. Sin is disobedience to God. Every sin, whether stealing something, lieing to someone, or whatever else, is first of all, a violation of God’s standards.
Since sin is disobedience to God, all sin is sin against God. In other words, He is the one that will stand as the judge against your sin. Since the only penalty for sin is death, you (or I) cannot pay for our sins. If I have only sinned twice… I could, at best, pay for one of them.
However, if a person that has no guilt steps in and decides to pay my debt, then the debt may be forgiven without my death. Sort of like someone stepping into a courtroom and paying a fine to the judge that you are unable to pay.
That’s what Jesus Christ has done for all of us. The only thing left for us to do is to trust that He is who He said He was and that He will do what He promised to do.
I hope that makes a little more sense than smashing your foot.
Jesus is the Son of God. By this, it means part of the Holy Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) Jesus is God, come to earth in Human form. His body and flesh to experience humanity, but his spirit to remain pure. This is how Jesus remained the only perfect, sinless person.
God is the opposite of sin. He is void of sin and is pure. He, in spiritual form cannot be where there is sin. Heaven is void of sin.
So, since man is sinful, man cannot be with God in his sinful form… and his spirit must be cleansed of sin before entering into Heaven. In order to do this, Jesus took all the sin of the world, past, present and future, onto him as he died on the cross. His flesh died with sin. He was then resurrected in his spiritual form, clean of all the sin of humanity. That’s how we are washed in his blood. For when we die, if we are saved by the salvation of the Son of God… then our sin dies with our flesh and we are pure in spiritual form. Our spirit goes to be with God. Even at this time, we cannot look directly upon God for we will not be able to comprehend his form. We will be with Jesus (who is also God in our form) The Bible says when God is asked when we will look upon His face we are told that we only need to look upon Jesus to see Him. This is what it means.
God forgave us and made a way for us to be in Heaven even when mankind chose sin. We repented and because He loved us, He made the sacrifice to save us.
vicarious redemption is what the Christianity is based on even though it is completely contradictory to its teaching. Its absolutely absurd.
its that “by proxy” mentality that they use to have. they would cast evil into an animal and sacrifice it to destroy the evil spirits.
they did a lot of things back then that made sense to them but when one really looks at reality it is silly.
the work of jesus is similar to someone committing murder then having their brother want to serve time in prison for them as long as they asked him for forgiveness….
they also produced animal scarifies a long time ago and this jesus was the human sacrifice to end all sacrifices…its old world and its silly
Love ~ is the reason , he deemed you worth it from the foundation of the world .
