    1) Pink Lady
    2) Gala
    3) Braeburn

    Pink Lady and Gala are nice and sweet and all three are particularly scrumptious for cheese and apple sandwiches!!

    I like gala apples, the skin is not too thick and the apple is not mushy. The ones with more red than yellow for some reason tend to be better.
